When Nicole comes upstairs and to her room, she'll find it softly lit with more than enough candles. There's even a path lined with tea lights from the door to the table that's been set. Logan had a LOT of help. Holly helped cook the dinner - steak, vegetables and a souffle for dessert; Dawn and Bee helped set up the candles - which explains why

She'd had a feeling something was planned. The fact that she was psychic had nothing to do with it; a day where Logan was actually away from her, actively, spoke of Plans. Thus she'd done a little work on her own, dressing up in a little something she'd coaxed out of the bar.

It's floor-length, which Logan might not appreciate, but there's a slit almost to her hips which he probably will. Perched atop those same hips, a gold belt, fashionably askew, brings out the shine to her hair as the black of the dress pales her skin and brings out her eyes. It's a halter top, with a keyhole at the front and very little at the back that shows off her curves and the slingback heels will be easy to slip out of, but look nice all the same. Her hair is piled up in soft curls that hang down the nape of her neck and at the sides of her face and as she steps into the room, she smiles.

"All this for me?"

He nods, maybe it's a little shy, but he smiles and says, quietly, "You cheated," as he holds out a hand to her. "We c'n dance, if ya like." Since her dress is definitely suited to the only dancing he knows, hopefully he won't step on her toes too badly.

She shakes her head.

"Nu-uh."

And walks to him, swinging her hips a little. Mostly, it's an affect of the heels but it's also because right now, she feels beautiful and loved more than ever.

"Maybe just one dance."

He smiles. She didn't cheat and even if she did, the results are completely worth it.

He pulls her close and moves slowly with the beat of the music that can just be heard through the speakers of the portable CD player that Jack insisted he must get back. "Ya look beautiful," he says and feels his face flush, because he's not exactly used to things like this.
