No russians this year on SYTYCD, sorry. :( There is (as always) some decent eye candy though. The entire group of 20 this year is a step above any previous season. There's nobody you can point to and say "nope, doesn't belong". Although it's contemporary-dance heavy this year (and the one ballroom guy is now gone), the level of competition looks like it's going to be amazing.

I've been thinking of a DSLR as well just because I heep hitting limits I don't want using my current camera, but then I wonder if I'd actually use it enough to really justify the cost. I asked Andy for a book on DSLR's for my birthday but didn't get one, so I'll just have to go grab one and see what I can see...

I should have said - I haven't even gotten to the top 20 stuff yet! I'm gonna be sad about the ballroom guy, I guess. Hopefully they make all the contemporary dancers do ballroom.

Well Gev is from Kazakhstan which is next to Russia, but I don't think he's particularly hot :)

The skill level this season is blowing me away - I just adore this show.

I've already gotten my first offer of tickets for the season but I don't really have the vacation time to feel comfortable going (and you can't really play sick to go be on a TV show...) so I'm going to wait a bit and see if a good time will come for me to go to another taping. :)

Community colleges tend to have adult ballet classes. So does the City of Rockville.

i really can't recommend my powershot highly enough. mine is the SD 850 IS but there is a newer version out there i am sure.
