Got my Crowded House tickets. Woo!! In case you want to get tickets, they went on sale this morning and I have my doubts they will sell out. Actually I bought two tickets and I don't know who is going with me although Jack has dibs. I sure hope the lab that day isn't important! Because I am skipping it! So, while at MC I had to take a Speech class. Ihave to say, I loved the class. It wasn't just giving a presentation, it was also about formulating arguments and points in order to have a well thought out premise.

It is actually one of the classes that I think I got more out of than some of the design classes I took.

I vaguely recall my Interpersonal Communication class from waaaaay back in college. Most of it was mind-numbingly boring, but I did enjoy the exercise where we had to pick a song lyric and discuss in terms of the narrator's interpersonal skills and the class, etc. I think I broke everyone's mind by using a song from Roger Water's "The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking." ^_^

Hmmmm, how big is that bed of yours? We have a double bed in our guest room, but the mattress is only so-so and there's no head board. In short, it's kinda ugly. How much were thinking of selling it for? Were you selling the mattress and head/foot boards?

It's a double. It's a gorgeous real wood bed but it has been cracked and repaired (WELL) in two places. The mattress and box springs have to go as well. I love this bed, but I have to admit that while we do have guests from time to time, I need to use the space in another way. I am thinking $200.
