Haven't updated in a week. What can I say? Not much going on.

After many years of being a snotty bitch about gaming, I dipped my toes back into tabletop with the all-girl Arcana game. This weekend I enjoyed the first session of a new fantasy game run by drivingblind which was a sprawling 6 hour world-building exercise with a little character creation tossed

Do they still make the Varsity disposable fountain pen? I used to love that thing! I thought it was discontinued.

They still make it! It has distracting silver stripes now. It was hidden behind a bunch of other stuff and there was only a few of them there. So I guess they are not as popular!

Ooh! Are you SERIOUSLY thinking about redoing your countertops with Corian? I'd LOVE to re-do ours with Corian or Granite...

This is the countertop in the house we are not getting. *sigh* It's deep blue with brilliant sparkles here and there.

Are you kidding? You've seen how much countertop we have. I would need to win the lottery, even the very cheapest Corian would cost us like $4000 (very rough estimate). But a girl can dream, right? I just have to touch it every time I go to Lowe's.
