our next book was voted in (under a 2-hand rule process) unanimously.

I declare this a pure demonstration of the problem inherent in the two-vote schema. I seriously doubt it'd be unanimous with a single-vote.

Oh, it wouldn't have. I don't mind cheating a bit to get something extraordinary to happen. :)

1.I had a thrift store literary score this week: a beautiful cloth-bound, ribbon-bookmarked copiy of Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children. Half of it is going over my head because I'm woefully ignorant about Kashmiri history, but I still love the writing. All for $1.40!
2. Could it not be argued that Coco Chanel was feminist in her own way? Um, savvy female businesswoman building a worldwide empire? I mean, if you're into capitalism, which you're not and neither am I. But still. Reclaim, reclaim!
3. I want to sniff your Green Rainbow. (teehee)
4. I wish you good dental health.
5. Ooh! Biology classes! Keep us posted.

1. I also scored literarily at the thrift store while I was there! I found the third book in the trilogy I linked to.
2. Um, sure! :)
3. Anytime, baby.

The BIO classes are prereqs for nursing 101. I need to prove I can, you know, still perform in a classroom setting anyways, so hopefully this can do it.
