The Last Birthday Post I Promise

Twenty-Three was the best birthday I've had in quite a while, which is not to say that other birthdays were in any way BAD, just that this was exceptionally awesome!  Sherrie whipped out cupcakes during the Senior Staff meeting and let me out early so Nick and I could enjoy the nice weather.  We fed the baby snapping turtles at Lake Lynn before ( Read more... )

I went to the Limited last night! Only Nick's solemn reminder that I had to pay the difference on the needles, and had spent way too much money on food with Coral and Zac, kept me from going for the $50 off $150 coupon. *sigh* Practicality. I got a very cute cropped sweater and a nice t-shirt/blouse.

It does not take much to enable me...

Yeah, I'd totally forgotten how overwhelming it was to have people singing at you. Hysterical giggling was the only alternative.

On my eleventh birthday, my mom and Aunt Penny snuck into the office at my Middle School and sang to me OVER THE INTERCOM AT LUNCH TIME. And then they burst through the doors of the cafeteria and did it again, in person. I almost had a stroke.
