You frighten me with your ability to remember these things that are mentioned in passing! Nick has been rhapsodizing about the crockpot all day; it's adorable.
His birthday is December 8. Mine is, um, coming up in May. I'm not sure I want to do anything for it, because A) our apartment has a max capacity of eight people, and B) I suffer from a combination of noonewillcome-itis and they'llthinkitsanexcuseforpresents-aphobia.

As for your birthday:
A) I have heard of places called "restaurants" that allow you to use their rooms and food, and even split the check. Also, you know many people with large living rooms that love you and would help out.
B) Don't be silly. Of course people would come! And you can have a "no presents" policy if that really bothers you, but sometimes people enjoy giving presents to their friends.
