I love these. XD And I figured it was either discovering Trey, or something else that was big (that I will not disclose ^_^)

I think they read fine. Lynn is definitely reading "middle school" age to me. And awww Roarke's annoyed face.

Did you move the group out of New York and to Boston?

Yeah, I got kind of sick of EVERYTHING being in New York. So they'll be shuffled around until I figure out what I want to do. Keeping it East Coast, though.

XD As long as Lynn doesn't have that Bostonian accent.

Oh, absolutely ^^ Feel free to make fun of the shaved sides of his head; he outgrows that particular design later, thank god.

The sketches are looking really nice, though Lynn looks to be more around 13/14 to me. I think if you add more hints of some baby fat, especially around the cheeks, waist, and arms, and adjust the waist/leg ratio you'd get her to look younger. Otherwise the face sketches work well ( ... )

I definitely think Lynn's limbs are too long for someone her target age, so I'll try to watch that! But she's deliberately sticklike on account of her nanos; they literally eat all nonessential body matter in an effort to keep running, and if she doesn't eat like a HORSE she goes catatonic. Are there any other physical cues I can use, aside from rounded limbs?

The same kind of goes for Roarke, in that he's been doing hard physical exercise since he was about Lynn's age, so he's supposed to be overmuscled. I do think his face reads too old, though...I'll work on softening it up (it is SO CRAGGY), and maybe making his eyes a smidge bigger.

I think for boys, and this is totally observational on my part since my sister is 14 and I get to see all her little friends all the time, no matter what a boy does (outside of football, because it's crazy and I swear it possess boys bodies and forces mass muscles) every single one of them has really thin basketball player legs and arms.

Very seldom do I ever see a boy in the 13-15 bracket who's as defined as Roarke. The only variations I see are the pudgy boys, the nerdy boys who have absolutely -no- muscles, or football boys who all look unusually big/older for their ages. O.o It sometimes weirds me out.

As for his face, I'll stick to what I said before. Round out the cheeks and chin, enlarge the eyes just a tad and maybe round the tip of the nose and it should help to make him look younger.

Still looks cool though.
