But I'm going to ask you another one. Because I am LJ-retarded. How do I post a comment in a thread with no text, just my icon? I see other people do it all the time, but whenever I try LJ says "NO YOU CANNOT DO THAT YOU MUST HAVE SOME TEXT OMFG" or something ( Read more... )

You do have to post some text, but you could just post a single punctuation mark. Or if you wanted to get fancy, you could post a single punctuation mark that's whited out -- white text, white background, though that wouldn't work on everyone's layout, I suppose.

Interesting. It seems on others' comments that there is no space at all. Maybe they are just using one punctuation mark, and making it very small and white so it seems there is nothing there at all?
