My mom wants to know for some reason. She's so random sometimes.

err... i think columbia in nyc has a very competitive, and good, art program....

oy oy oy oy...
my info's about 6 years old, since that's when I was looking at art schools, but these were amongst the top ten when I was looking (not in any particular order..)
Cooper Union, NYC (not columbia ;))
Parsons, NYC
Rhode Island School of Design, Providence (RISD)
Maryland Institute College of Art
Art Institute of Chicago (not to be confused with other knock-off art schools in Chicago, this is the museum school)
Pratt Institute, NYC
There were a couple in CA too, but since there was no way in hell my parents were going to let me escape all the way to California, I don't remember their names ;)

Her boyfriend's daughter is going to college soon and is looking at art schools. My mom remembered that you went to school for art, so she is trying to help with the search by providing at least the start of the list.

Couple months ago, she had me looking at criminal justice schools for herself, but she's got a new job now (kind of) so that's not happening any time soon.

In the sims, they just stare out the window with a paintbrush and a blank canvas. After a few days, they're a seasoned artist. Suggest that they try that?
