I went out for a walk this evening; just got back. It wasn't a long walk, just about 14 blocks west, one block south, then back up. The sun had set, but there was still a halo along the horizon, which lent a soft glow my surroundings. It also made everything foreign. The last time I had a real "home" was when I was 7, and I longed for a real home when I was growing up (especially in my teens). But now, I think I've gotten too used to my nomadic ways, that I'm not sure I'll ever manage to settle down. I haven't even had the same mailing address for more than 2 years in the last 10 years...
