Selling out

I've been thinking a lot about management consulting recently. On the one hand, one could argue that consultants don't exactly do anything (despite working massively long hours), but the same could be said of graduate students. you know, the Bay Area is very nice. less rain than Seattle. Although, if you decide on Seattle, i have a few friends there who could certainly help out with scouting of apartments, etc.

Yeah, the Bay Area never struck a chord with me. Something about it always being "too windy" or "too chichi" or "too expensive." I also prefer being in close proximity to an active volcano than to an active fault line -- one of my advisors is a petrologist, after all.
