I'm glad to hear someone liked it. The trailer I've seen has piqued my interest, but I know I'm not gonna get to a theater to see it (no sci-fi/action fan friends here), so it'll be a loooooooooong time until I get to see it.

I know a lot of people take the stance of "if it isn't James Cameron, it isn't Terminator," so that may be fueling a lot of the hate. The premise looks interesting. What I love about Terminator is that there can be so many plot lines. Maybe James Cameron has a certain way he envisions the events of Terminator really ending/happening/starting, but anyone can come up with something and make it plausible. Time travel fixes all! When, really, I hate time travel.

And, imdb already has a Terminator 5 page. Jumping the gun a bit?
