Do artist sign ups have a closing date?

Not officially :D

Sign ups will stay open through claims, that way if all the stories don't get an artist we can advertise for more artists.

ARe you going to allow the authors who've signed up for the Crossover BB this year to use the same fic for the SPN crossover?

I've signed up for the Crossover & would love to sign up here but I won't be able to do 2 stories in that time...

We can do allow that again this year :D

You just have to decide what claims post you want the story to go in (here or at crossbigbang).

Sorry I'm being dense here, but I had the same question and I want to make sure I'm reading your response correctly. If I understand you, then I can sign up for both crossbigbang and here for the same story, as long as I only have the artist claim on one comm.

Is that correct?

I am going to say no, I don't mind the same story being used for two challenges (although the mod there might have an issue) but the problem is the posting schedule most likely won't match up.

Posting here starts June 1st and authors will be assigned specific posting dates.

If, when the schedule for the new round of spn_cinema posting there falls within the first two weeks of June then if the other mod is okay with it maybe.

So, I've been working on my fic and I'm on Part 3 (of 6/7) and I have only just gotten to the Supernatural part. See, my fic is a 3way cross with Buffy and Angel (and its Dawn-centric) so Part 1 ended up being about Dawn, Part 2 ended up being about Dawn meeting Connor and now Part 3 is finally about Dawn meeting the boys.

Now, you said that it has to be a SPN cross (which it obviously is) and that SPN has to be central (which again it is. SPN is the entire plot) but I just want to make sure that it's still okay that its taken me a while to get all the characters lined up together...

Have you ever considered having a section for crossover prompts? Not an organized exchange or anything, just free-range plot bunnies for authors in need of inspiration.

It's a little late in the round now but we will definitely make sure to do something like that in the next round!
