Round 5 Schedule
Hey guys! We here at sncross_bigbang are gearing up for Round 5 (can you believe that?) of this challenge. Sign ups for authors and artists open in just a week so get plotting on your crossover stories. Here is the schedule for Round 5:
Author Sign Ups - January 14th, 2013 to March 1st, 2013
Checkpoint #1 - February 1st, 2013
Checkpoint #2 - March 1st, 2013
Checkpoint #3 - April 1st, 2013
Rough Drafts Due - April 17th, 2013
Artist Claiming - April 20th, 2013
Artist Checkpoint (MANDATORY) - May 3rd, 2013 - May 10th, 2013
Final Art and Fics Due - May 22nd, 2013
Posting Schedule Up - May 25th, 2013
Posting Starts - June 1st, 2013
Something new this year is the Mandatory Artist Checkpoint, this is something I've had great success with at other big bangs. It will be open for artists for a week (those who can't be around at the time can arrange to check in when they can) and will be used to determine if 1)The artist and author have made contact, 2)The artist is on track to finish by the due date or if they need more time, and 3)Artists who don't check in or respond to emails can have pinch hitters found for stories sooner where pinch hitters have more time to work.
We are excited to see new and returning participants, the past few rounds have been some truly amazing and fun crossovers.
The Round 5 FAQ will be going up before sign ups open, but till then feel free to ask any questions you might have here!
