ladies!

I'm thinking I may have screwed up a wee bit. Did I mix up the right and wrong side? I think the stitches should be reversed? Please tell me it isn't so?!

It looks like you have just successfully competley your first cable! All your stitches look like they are are on the right side. When you do your first cable, it takes a couple rows to look okay. All the stitches feel tight and akward, but you've done it correctly!

I'll take a photo of my purse so far, so you can compare stitches.

after doing two cable rows, i've realized i'm doing something wrong on one of the cables (the big centre one), so i'm gonna switch it and do it differently than the pattern. i'm hoping the other side of my purse will look perfect because the one i'm working on now has mistakes galore, but i don't think enough noticeable ones to start over. i'll just try to hide it when i carry it. haha

i gave up!! i've made just too many mistakes to make this a purse i'll actually like and carry.

i'm going and getting the same yarn you and karissa have and starting over, knowing what i did wrong and how to fix it.

but i'll keep what i've got to show you what looks good and what went terribly wrong.
