I decided that the apartment after 4 years of living here needs to actually be decorated, not just bits and pieces.  I got inspired after messing around on apartment therapy so I spent the day at working thinking about it.

I was chatting with Michelle and a couple of other people in the cmm room and the subject got to my purple hair and I said 'yeah, I guess I'm a freak.' Michelle said,'You're our freak.'  I felt special.  Is that pathetic to get the warm fuzzies from that?

I geeked out with Sonia about purchasing a tardis 4 usb hub for my laptop and she geeked out about her Face of Boe coin bank. \0/!  Once I get it setup I'm showing her a pic.  Also, WoW evidently makes you spend a lot of money playing over time so I think I'm gonna stay with FATE for now.

I've decided I'm not going to post anymore negative stuff about work because as colander-like as my mind is and as much as I need to expel and spew about work; I'm not wasting my personal time about it any more.  I've decided that once I walk out the door at 10pm I'm done thinking about work.

I got back home at 2 am from visiting Dad and Mom for Father's Day.  I'm less than 3 years and 6 months away from being 30 and I've come to the realization that contrary to my beliefs of 'you're an adult, get your shit together/in gear'; most adults are working toward that goal for the rest of their lives.  Basically, I'm screwed.

So I woke up late and left Fort Smith kinda late.  Work went better than I expected.  I so did NOT go shopping in Savers.  The downside...I kinda splurged at Hastings.  Tomato Tomahto.  I did go over my budget of fun stuff so I'm gonna have to return my Hot  Topic purchases. :(  I've got a busy day ahead of me for tomorrow since I have to go back ( Read more... )

Payday!  Money Money Money!  I caught up on bills, and went grocery shopping after probably over a month since I've done that.  I spent over a hundred dollars at CV's. Eazy-peazy.  But I also found a comic book that Neil Gaiman wrote in 2003 called 1602 p. 3 so I'll have to look for that at Hastings.  I've got to buy Dad's and Rae's gift tomorrow ( Read more... )
