If it isn't awful of me to mention my own story, you might find The Apple Tree http://hpfandom.net/eff/viewstory.php?sid=19708 fits your number 3 request, though it is rather long, I'm afraid, and hurt/sickness are not the focus of the entire story. (Apologies if the link doesn't set up automatically - if it doesn't, I'd be grateful if someone can tell me how to do it properly!)
