I know this fic. It's non-magic. Harry is a child prostitute living with the Dursleys and Severus 'takes' him on the weekends. I can't remember the name though.

The first very short chapter called Pride, in the missing scenes written by tales_of_rhys on hpfandom as well is what constitutes the alternate ending. Nothing extraordinary, it's still a bit depressing. Sorry, didn't think to warn about the terrible ending.

I've read that story a long time ago, but didn't remeber the sad ending. It just made me cry and I am in a bad mood now. Thank you for pointing out the alternative ending. I did read this short chapter; however, I wasn't aware it to be anything else but just a missing scene - though it WAS a little wird and not exactly matching with the story.
