specific Snape mentors Harry fic

I have been trying to find this story that was set in Harry's 2nd year. It wasn't Snarry but they were the main characters and I know that Snape was at least mentoring him (he may have become Harry's guardian, I can't remember). All I can remember is this scene between Harry and Snape where Snape is mad because Harry hasn't been doing his DADA

I don't know for sure, I'm going through the story but haven't found that yet. That's just the only story I can think of that takes place in second year.

Have you found this yet? I read the above two fics, but didn't find the scene you were talking about and Snape checking on Lockhart's class sounds like oodles of snarky fun.
