I believe Telanus Tea Series, is along those lines of Harry saving Severus. I don't have the link but it's on walking the plank.
It's one of the best.

Totally agree with Hiko73. The 2nd (or 3rd) story in the "Tea" series has one of the best Harry saves ever. I LOVE that scene! (And the one that comes after in Dumbledore's b-- ah, better not spoil. ;)

Some other great/epic Harry saves:

Alchemia Dent & Bugland's continuing stooooorry, "A Bittersweet Potion" has more than a few great Harry saves in it. But, it is long (I mean long.) And sometimes the links don't work. But I think it's available through the Wayback Machine

I highly highly second "This Thing of Darkness" (bottom!Harry) and "Blood and Fire" (which fits your requests almost exactly).

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Tea series, but if you're not, I just wanted to point out that when the boys do have anal sex, Harry bottoms. For the vast majority of the series, they stick to frottage and blow jobs, though, so there are really only a few of those scenes anyway. There is one scene where Harry tops, but he's sort of possessed at the time, so it's not really him. I, too, am a fan of bottom!Snape, but I can't recommend this story enough. Telanu is one of the best (if not the absolute best) authors in fandom, and the story is wonderful, even allowing for a couple of scenes that aren't fully to your taste, IMO.

I've always found it weirdly interesting that fans have such adamant preferences about that. I've never really cared who sticks their Tab A into who's Slot B. So long as I can gets me some well-written Snarry, the boys could be rubbing it into each others' ears. (Tho, if there is Snarryfic out there about that, I don't wanna know about it. Really. ;D )

I find bottom!harry people tend to be adamant, but never heard that someone strongly prefers the other way. For me it isn't actual act of penetration that matters so much who does it, but often there are quite different relationship dynamics depending on who is bottom and who top. And I do love Snape on both sides.

I rather agree about relationship dynamics (both in how it drives the couple's sexuality and fan preferences). But the Snape/Harry pairing is so multi-faceted at their various life stages, I easily see either of them taking on any number of roles. I've especially noticed this in a great deal of post-Hogwarts/EWE fic lately. A lot of writers seem to be ready/willing to shake up their long-held positions on Harry and Severus. And I suppose the trend will only continue once the last two films are released and the fandom visually recognizes Harry (Dan Radcliff) as a fully-grown man.

Same. I kept wanting him to turn into a good (at least a little) guy in Angel, so Angel could trust him. But, he was still an awesome actor in the show-and great singer. Have you noticed that David is more imposing as an FBI agent in Bones than as a vamp in Angel? I just really wish Kane will be able to convince him to come on Leverage. It would be great! I'm gonna stop rambling now, should prob get some sleep. : )
