Dumb machines can definitely be defeated but of course the purpose of such is almost completely psychological. It is the waste of resources that would be involved to do so which is my concern.
My guess the is CEOs will put a saddle on it and let their kids ride it across the back lot. The lesser rich kids get to play with it pretending to be doing something useful.
We get to admire it as it as it traversed a pile of crumbled blocks the only time it didn't crash to the ground pitifully.
I think that one is a prototype to test walking machines and too small for military use. Maybe NASA could use that size. I don't know if that one could right itself if it fell over on its side. If it were a LOT bigger it might be armored for military use. Like Star Wars big. Impractical.
