This is so sad and lovely at the same time. I wanted to copy and paste my favourite lines, but I'd be copying the entire fic. Such gorgeous imagery! And I just want to snuggle them both, and tell them to leave everything else behind and take what will make THEM happy. Although I know it's more complicated than that.

That was actually the crux of why I wrote this fic, to be honest. The whole "H/D fall in love and live happily ever after even though they have families now" thing is something I just cannot stand. lol So I wanted to write H/D the way I think it would be if they really did fuck around. I'm so mean.

I was just going through my friends post list and honestly, the first thing I said when I saw this pop up was

Oh GOD how I loved that fic.

you BROKE me with that. My heart TORN OUT and splattered all over the floor in its absolute wonderous BEAUTY that were your words.

Yeah I'm purple prosing but truly, it was a fantastic read and, obviously, has stayed with me since the first read during the holidays. xo
