So as those who are familiar with the world of Harry Potter know, there's this nifty little branch of magic called Legilimency. While Snape rather detests it being reduced to such simplistic terms, it basically means that if someone is a Legilimens, they'll be able to read other people's minds and see their thoughts, feelings and memories unless those people have some sort of defense against that, such as Occlumency.
Snape is a pretty good Legilimens (in addition to being probably the best Occlumens there is). If eye contact is made in person, he can easily slip into someone else's brain without having to say the spell and unless that someone is good enough to have mental defenses that he's not aware off/can't skirt around easily, he can read minds with people being none the wiser for it.
And so, this is where you come in since while Snape will be doing this without permission for the most part, Wintaer is not nearly so rude (maybe). Anyways, if you guys would be so helpful as to fill this form out, I would be so very grateful!
Character Name:
Journal:
Is it okay for Snape to use Legilimency on your character? Note: this will only work if/when eye-contact is established in person.
Does your character have any sort of mental defense against Legilimency? If so, what is it?
If 'yes' to the question above, will your character realize immediately that Snape is poking around if he's just looking at surface thoughts?
If your character has mental defenses, would it be okay with Snape to break through them? Note: this will probably lead to plotting/be due to plotting
What are some things that Snape will/you'd like him to pick up via Legilimency?
Other: Any other comments or concerns you'd like to voice?
