Shiny! I love the tweaks to the pacing.

She should have a song commemorating her fortitude. Something like "MacArthur Park," but not another cover--a tribute. Because Joey like... left her cake out in the rain for a decade and it didn't melt. Or maybe it did, because ten years has got to be pushing any cake's lifespan, but Kelly's recipe is written in indelible ink. And JC has always liked that line about the sweet, green icing flowing down.

And however many times I read this, it never gets any less funny, or any less awesome :-)

Thanks! The tweaks were difficult. I did a bunch more and suddenly didn't like where it was and had to do a whole bunch of hitting "undo" and "redo" to even figure out what all I'd done. I'm glad what I ended up with works.

That paragraph is pretty much one of my favorites ever out of anything I've done. And it's all because of random chance and the radio. *g* I've never heard that station play "MacArthur Park" before or since then.

I know. I'm still not sure how he got into those things. As I was finishing this, I started watching the video muted and on loop so I could focus on the body language. But I was pretty much all "OMG, those pants!" the whole time.

That's probably why the whole fic is pretty much all about getting them off of him somehow (with the help of a fairy godmother and a magic wand?)

I'm glad you're enjoying it--and that Kelly doesn't detract from things. (I wonder sometimes if her presence will put people off from the story. But, I don't think I could write it without her.)

Oh, I think Kelly needs to be there - I mean, she *is* there, in Joey's life, and I'd much rather think of somewhat!kinky!Kelly (who is in any case gorgeous) than cheat!Joey.

2) DISNEY PRINCESS FTW!!! I mean, I am pretty sure someone (I thought it was you!) offered to write me JC alien MPREG, but Disney Princess is about as close to awesome as you could get without making JC pregnant. (Although maybe that could come later. The special Disney Princesses, Crack Edition!). Anyway, this is fabulous! I've said before, I am not a JoeC person, but you make me believe it and love it and this verse makes me so ridiculously happy. ♥
