New theater in town

One of the things I like about living downtown is that there is a really awesome theater just a few blocks away -- the really beautiful, really technically advanced AMC Mainstreet 6, where there's plenty of leg room, reserved seating, and alcohol available at the concession stand.  :)

But it is currently closed.  Because they sold it.

Oh man, I didn't realize it had already closed! That sucks! :( I hope it re-opens as the Alama Drafthouse SOON. And I hope they keep the reserved seating and everything else that made that theater AWESOME. (I also selfishly hope they keep the bathroom decor because it was AWESOME.)

It should reopen at the end of the week -- not as the full on Drafthouse, but as a sort of transitional thing until fall. But the Drafthouse also does the reserved seating, and sounds generally pretty awesome, so it should work out! Except maybe for this one movie. :/
