Did you know that under current Singapore law, married women have no legal recourse if their husband rapes them? Has being married suddenly revoked her basic human rights? Why should marriage negate the humiliation, the horror, the pain of rape? Why should married men have a free pass in this aspect ( Read more... )

I'm speechless, really. When I first heard this fact 4 years ago, I couldn't believe my ears! And no one I've told since believes that it is actually a law. Thank you for signing it.
