Writer's Block: Reading Aloud

Neil Gaiman, that'd be a dream come true <3 Though I have actually heard him reading out loud already (YouTube video, yes), but nothing like actually being able to be there.

authors, literary festivals, writer's block, neil gaiman

sorry for being so random to comment, but I would urge to to see Gaiman talk live if he's ever near! I saw him at a signing and then again the next week at a lit fest near my town, and he really was amzing. He read out an extract from Odd and the Snow Giants, and The Graveyard book.
I also had to ask him at the signing how many shades of black he was wearing.
Mind me asking which of his books you've read?

Hm, if I ever saw Gaiman walking down the street, I think I'd die right there, haha... You're so lucky to have been able to meet him. :)
How many shades of black was he wearing, anyway?
I have read American Gods, Stardust, Coraline, Good Omens, and a few of his poems (and I really want to read The Graveyard Book)
And random comments are the best.

haha, I would too! again. Me and my friend went back in Waterstones (where he did the signing) about an hout later, and he was leaving, and said goodbye to us. I had SUCH a fangirl OHMYGOD moment.
And he was wearing five :D haha, he's so sweet.
Read Anansi Boys (: it's a great book, and you MUST read Neverwhere - it's possibly my favourite book of his to date along with GO.

Five layers, my my. He does look like a really nice guy.
All right then, I must get those two books (along with the rest of the Sandman series). Thank you for the recommendations :D
