Doesn't Severus look like the angsty young man? I love that the poster's serpentine queue of people is winding out behind him-and Severus' shiny boots and cut up socks and, well, everything!

I can imagine teen Severus doing something like that. I like this work, the socks, the short trousers, the not so white t-shirt. His angry expression while observing the spectator.

How much do I love this? This is brilliantly done; the fact that you poked around in history to use two real historical posters is marvelous, and they're so graphic and artistic in their own right. I also love how you've extrapolated the color palate from the posters into your piece as a whole. It's spare and very, very effective.

But then he looks fab himself! The style of clothes, the oversized jacket and tight trousers and dingy T-shirt, those boots and socks! Gods, he's such an angst-ridden teenager here! Well done, and thank you for sharing this!

(Then again, maybe my comment means nothing because, as the wall behind him states, 'words do not mean anything today'?)

What is there not to love about this?? Such a wonderful piece of art. I can definitely see Severus just like this at this age range, and I love how you presented it. Lovely use of the posters and their colour, and I love all the little details. Severus’ shirt!!! The rolled sleeves. The way the cloths sit; you just know he’s all bony joints underneath.

The colours are gorgeous and I particularly love the inclusion of the anti-labour poster, roll up and join the dole queue... And his pants are still too short!! 😆 Poor Severus... Totally agree he'd have at least blended with the punk aesthetic even if he weren't a fan himself. (Although it really seems tailor made for him. My head canon: he had a thing for Gaye Advert, a distant (squib) cousin of the Blacks...)

Well done, MA!
