Lonely, bitter, sad-you've captured those emotions in a Severus who's desperate to be free (but knows that he'll never be).

Thank you! I had to scribble some happier Snapes to make up for it though :p...

Oh, your *coughs* eggspression is a wonderful Easter gift! It's always so lovely to see a happy young Severus, and he's clearly delighted-and I adore how happy Eileen is that she's pleased her son, even though she hardly shows it. Thank you for sharing!

He looks alert, as if he couldn't relax even one moment. At least that's what the half-raised wand implies for me. But there is an air of ... stoic endurance about him. He looks so dignified.

Thank you for sharing your work, dear MA! ^^

Thank you very much!

... I admit that whenever I think about Severus' time as headmaster, I tear up because of everything you list there. *sniff*

I think I'll go and draw some happier Severi now :p...

Oh, I didn't mean to make my comment a sad one... I really look forward to any Severi (hihi, really like this ;) made me grin) you choose to share with us. Once more, thank you!

The expression on his face is perfect - doubtful yet determined, serious yet unsatisfied, and above all so thoughtful and calculating, as one would have to be to balance all the conflicting demands, needs, and requirements of being this particular headmaster at this particular moment in time. Nicely done!

Thank you very much!

I find Snape's stint as headmaster as fascinating as it is depressing :/... In a way it's his culminating point, isn't it?

I agree - that year is one of the most interesting to explore. Everything he has been doing comes to a head that year: his spying for the Order, his loyalty to Dumbledore, his ability to deceive V and the Death Eaters, his conflicting feelings for Harry, his love for his godson Draco -- it's all tested to the breaking point. And he doesn't break :)

No need to apologize -- real life does sometimes interfere with fandom -- but thank you for the lovely Easter egg!

Here is yet another reason why you remain one of my favorite artists in HP fandom - you draw Severus like no other. The strong lines in his face and his beautiful, so compelling eyes, that expressive mouth. *shivers*
Beautiful, beautiful artwork!

Thank you so very much! <3

I didn't imagine being among anyone's favourites anymore after all this time XD - but Severus is still one of my absolute favourites to draw (and invent futures for). Whenever I try something new, it's usually with Severus, because he is the most fun. Even if 'fun' is not the word in this case. I'm so glad you enjoy my Snapes!
