Every teacher has had a student like Percy! (and most of us, more than one over the course of a career). I like the professors' solution.

I always enjoy behind-the-classroom scenes with the teachers doing their jobs. And Albus - lol. We've all had administrators like him, too.

Oh dear, I feel for Percy as he tries to prove to his Professors that he is good at something. Alas he is so keen he misunderstands the instructions.

Being the youngest of six siblings I can empathise with him and am sure he heard it in every class of how good William or Charles is in class etc.

I really enjoyed reading this story and how the faculty dealt with the issue Severus brought to their meeting. I am glad that Minerva invited him to speak after dinner and how Severus anticipated that there be whisky . Any meeting without Albus interfering is a good meting.
