First, I want to know everything about Ophiuchus' banshee project; it sounds fascinating!

Second, reading this is like spying on such a fraught, deeply emotional moment, and it makes me wonder how the hell Severus and his mentee ended up here. I could read more about that, but I think the between-the-lines conversation-which feels real to me-is the point.

Dealing with a teen is hard, although you would think Severus would have a clue... but Ophiuchus has a different relationship and it's harder for Severus to keep up his shields.

So, after reading this a second time, I think you're meaning to say that Severus is his father and... Bellatrix his mother. The first time through, I thought Severus was speaking about his own mother, but he wasn't at all, was he? He's quite the master of saying nothing but saying everything.
