Welcome, everyone!
To inaugurate this community, we are holding a contest for the months of September and October. The winner will have a banner or similar item made of their winning entry.
Loose-Canon!Snape
Paint a canon Snape scene from the Harry Potter books. The scene should be humorous as it was written (e.g., Boggart!Snape), or you can change the scene so that it reflects how Snape should have been depicted, or how Snape himself would have wanted the scene (e.g., Harry on bended knee, thanking Snape for saving him in the Shrieking Shack). The most important things are that the painting be funny, make use of ArtPad, and include recognizable characters from the books in a recognizable canon scene.
Enter by replying to this post with a link to your ArtPad drawing, or to a screenshot of it, if ArtPad is will not replay the link to your drawing. Include a title and short introduction, if possible.
Multiple entries are welcome! The contest will end October 31 at midnight wherever you are. The winner will be announced in the first week of November.
NOTE: This contest is supplemental to the main contest, hosted by _grainne_, i.e., not intended to replace the contest already in progress, or its follow-up. The winner of the August contest will host the September contest.
