Leaving Hogwarts, Severus cast a suspicious glance around, notice-me-not charm notwithstanding. Good. He was not observed.
It was infuriating, having to be so cautious, but he was well aware that at this time of year, the students would be more alert than ever to any of their professors sneaking off for an amorous liaison. Discretion was paramount.
Outside the gates, Severus shifted into his animagus form. None of the regulars batted an eyelid as he trotted into the Hog’s Head, the barman giving him a fond leer as he led him to their usual back room.
“Maaaa,” bleated Severus coyly.
