I just wanted to tell you in private, that I was deeply sorry to hear about your kitty, and in NO WAY was making light of the situation. I am not used to having my condolences criticized by committee, but it seems the way of this community.

Pet Grim Reaper was not mean to make light of what you are having to do, nor do I take it lightly when I have to end an animal's life, and the call always falls to me to have to do it in our family. It never gets any easier.

If you took offense or thought I was being "Cheeky" I assure you I wasn't and I apologize to you sincerely. I would never find any humor in this circumstance.
