Wilson's Prom Hike, 11th-14th July 2009

Only 1.5 days of rain, relatively bareable cold, strong winds, beautiful surroundings and fun people = great Hike!!!

I just (yesterday evening) returned from a 4 day hike at the Wilsons Promotory with Verena, Jason (her boyfriend) and Eleanor. We drove up Friday evening, as in left Melbourne at around 8.15 pm, and arrived at Tidal River around 11.

i love wilsons prom but i've never really camped there. i've done pretty much all the day walks though.
have you seen the view from mount oberon?

yea, i have. It's fantastic!!! Although that area is mostly burned now...

Haven't been to Wilson's Prom in years...great photos, and it looks like you had a great time...with a few frustrations....again, thanks for sharing...your style of writing is great to read. Vilma
