I forgot how much I enjoy waking up to sunshine.

Maybe now I could grow a plant or two, one that actually uses light. It could be nice to have a plant named Charley in honor of him, but I think I'd like one that flowers. Does anyone know where I might get some seeds?

Science class will restart next week, by the way.

It's shoeprints, actually. People rarely commit crimes while barefoot.

And yes.

When ground is wet or soft, as it often seems to be around here, someone who steps with a degree of hardness leaves an imprint of their shoe. By filling the indentation with plaster and then drying it, inking it, and making a print, you can compare it to shoe prints and discover whose shoe left the mark. I've used this method to solve many crimes. Of course, it isn't as helpful as a fingerprint, since people can own several shoes and often two people can own the same shoe. It is still helpful, however, as many criminals nowadays know to wear gloves and so fingerprints are hard to come by.

If you worry about being accidentally accused of a crime due to wearing the same size and make of a shoe, I suggest you use a nail or some other implement to mark the soles of your shoes and make them unique. That's what I always do.
