Ok, so that walk that was supposed to happen, the day after my grueling 2 mile trek with the pup? Didn’t happen. Pouring rain. Then the work week kicked in, and grading finals, and another work week of hell, and here we are, 2 weeks later and not only have I not walked, but I also ate fast food crap to boot.

I have what I call my Adventure Bag. I decided I wanted to be able to just take off somewhere if the whim arose, and be able to be alright while I was out. I've got my knitting in there, but also a first-aid kit, a bottle of water, an Ace bandage for if my ankle gives up on me, and some food that anyone in my family could eat (tricky with food allergies). I don't know if something like that would work for you, but you are a delightfully creative person, and thus you'll be able to come up with something that fits you right. *hugs*

I've been gluten-free for a while, and that means there's not a lot available for me in fast-food places. It's bad enough that I also keep a single-serving packet of peanut butter in a tin in my purse, so I can get some protein at least. I have already had a food-crash because I forgot to eat lunch and a friend gave me her apple, thank goodness! Don't want to be in that situation ever again.
