This was absolutely amazing; if this is what you write when you write fast, please, please always write fast.

You're characters are the most IC I've ever read in fanfic and yet, they are adults. I'm in awe of your Gai, Lee, Gaara, Kakashi, Sakura - the secondary characters that seemed so real. The fate of the Aburame Clan .. oh, how horrifying. You have an incredible talent of description in just a few words. Naruto's breakout of Sasuke is not 50 words yet it's so ... visual. Sasuke's glasses, Gaara & Lee sparring, Sakura crying, Shikamaru planning, and in the distance, smoke clouds. Just incredible. This should be the next movie!

You're just ... wow, I don't know what to say but ... Amazing!!!

Awesome! I loved as you capture the complexity of the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke. And the plot was very interesting and well developed, totally believable. I also really liked the reference to Sasuke's eyes and all that it implied. Is an amazing story. Thanks for writing it.

Also, all the stuff with Sasuke's eyes may have been me trying to work through my own issues with the subject. XD When that chapter of the manga first came out, it disturbed me like whoah. D:

Holy hell. I'm leaving this comment to tell you how much I enjoyed this whole thing- but particularly the bit where Sasuke and Naruto had their confrontation (and hookup- guh, just guh, SO HOT) because it was so fucking IC, so them-Sasuke tortured and angry and stupid, and Naruto so empathetic and determined and great. I read tons of fics and rarely see the interaction between them so good, crackling with energy and angst and love etc etc etc. They were both so great.

And so nicely plotted- I love stories so intelligently crafted. lovelovelove.

also, lolol to Naruto wanting to put Suigetsu back on the missing nin list was so cute, what a great sentence- "don't care who- but suigetsu is SO going back on the missing nin list," was so him. ♥

Also, like, everything you write has this sweeping, epic romantic quality to it. It's pretty distinctive. The only reason I had suspicions this was you was because Missing Pieces was one of my favorites last round, and this really felt similar.
Also you have some of the best, hilarious dialogue x3

And- and- "Try to stop me if you want," first off, very Naruto, but even better is Sasuke's reaction. He can't be so cold-hearted as to ignore that, so I went *WIBBLE* T_________T when it said he kept that memory close to his heart. Who wouldn't, after Naruto fucking walks into prison, takes his arm, and just brings him out with him like that? ;;____;;

ALSO, ONE MORE THING, BECAUSE IT PLEASES ME SO: "My brother drowned his lover in that river. Not. There." Is this an Ita/Shi reference? I fixated on this the first time reading, I was like, "WHOA NOW, does this author ship ita/shi? how utterly charming to find in a s/n fic" <333333333333 are you one of usssssss? :D

I'm always a sucker for happy endings, and for people being the best of themselves, I guess. If Naruto's saying 'screw the rules, I'm doing what I think is right,' then yeah. That might be another mark that it's me. XD

HOHOHO SO YOU NOTICED THAT. I really like the pairing! It's all Ronsard's fault. I really wondered what it would be like if I just slipped a reference to it into the story - especially with no explanation of how Sasuke knew. XD I do like to pretend, inside my head, that they're ninth cousins five times removed or something, so it's not actually incesty, but. >.>; Well. I think they go really well together. And I've always thought that Shisui agreed to let Itachi kill him.
