There's a slow build to this story and their relationship and I really enjoyed it. The antagonism between SasuNaru reminded me of how they used to be, but the subject matter was so adult it was sobering. I've never really been one for the "rebuilding the clan" stories, but this felt right and the introduction of the kids too with the inevitable curse/gift of the Sharingan plus the politics of the issue just brought it home.

Again I really enjoyed this, thanks!

yes, I liked it, even the Hinata part, hahaha, my first reaction was 'noooooooooo! .:dramatic swoon:. what are you doing?' but the built up of the fic was great, the way Naruto grew up in the fic -in the political sense and the emotional- makes me feel proud (yeah, I know I'm weird)

I love stories that go into the politics of the village and you did JUST THAT. It broke my heart when Sasuke picked Hinata just to spite Naruto, but such a dick move it totally him. And Hinata's and her family's quiet acceptance of it all KILLED ME.

You worked in all the other characters so well, and I swooned at all their cameos. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I ALSO HAVE A SECRET SOFT SPOT FOR SAKURA+LEE. HOW DID YOU KNOW??????????? ILU

His face was smooth and blank, and Naruto vaguely wondered what would happen if he reached up and touched Sasuke’s mouth the way he wanted to.
I love this line. Naruto as always been so focused on Sasuke, and the longing is palpable--he's so caught up in his idea of Sasuke that he's willing to give Sasuke even this, if he wanted it. :<<<<< ♥♥♥♥

And I love Sakura/Lee as well. They have the potential to be so cute.

I... I can't even. This is so, so utterly brilliant! The slow build-up, the rebuilding of trust, just everything about this is wonderful, and beautifully written, and seething with feeling and emotion.

My heart almost broke when Sasuke was forced to marry, and picked Hinata to keep her away from Naruto, but the kids... OMG I have such a soft spot for kids and you wrote Yoshirou so damn well, I LOVE him! The scene where Naruto makes fun of Sasuke's hair and Yoshirou laughs -- brilliant. And the way you hinted at Neji/Hinata, that was lovely, and sort of makes up for all the shit she's been put through.

Seriously, there isn't a thing I didn't like about this. Excellent plotline, the ending was really well thought out. Brilliant work, mystery writer! <3<3<3
