Hooooooooooooly crap that was awesome. I am totally blown away, by the characterization and the prose and the seamless way you switch tenses and waver between illusion and reality and just...wow.

And Madara is so evil and tricky and fabulous. And Naruto hurts my heart and Sasuke is such a moron. Oh, I love this fic SO MUCH. *flail*

Sasuke is being quite the little drama queen at the moment...I feel a bit bad for naruto; I'm so afraid by the time he realizes his mistake Naruto won't be save-able anymore --> guess it manifested here XD

That was chilling. The amount of detail, how you describe everything so it was as if we were *there*, how the disjointed narrative comes together...brr.

The 'Sasuke-kun' threw me off a bit - for a moment I thought it was Madara talking, since I don't recall Naruto ever calling Sasuke with an honorific, but I could be wrong, and that's a minuscule detail anayway.

Love love love the myth element. I like that while the technique is named Izanagi, Sasuke identifies with Izanami, and that "bitterness of realization" line! AUGH. HURTS SO GOOD.

Description is my weak point and I really wanted to present the idea of genjutsu as congealing into something that is believable by the mind. You're probably right about the "Sasuke-kun" bit, I think it just came out naturally and I didn't really catch it. You're right that in that situation Naruto would probably drop the honorific.

I love how kishimoto works in Suzanoo and Amerterasu, when I ended up reading the Izanagi myth it just had soooo many parallels I could leave it out. Thank you so much for leaving such a wonderful comment!

OH. MY. GOD. THIS WAS HEARTBREAKING AND SAD AND ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I can't jaldkjfkas;da; .___. I loved it. So much. It just flowed so well, all the memories fading in and out. And the ending. It was slowly building up and leading to the ending, which I half suspected, but it was just. JLAKJF: I can't even. JALKFA:L I CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT WHO THIS IS OH MY GOD. Absolutely fantastic fic. I could read this over and over again.
