#Supernatural Season 7 Gag Reel Musings

You may have all seen the Season 7 Gag Reel! As usual it was hilarious! And as usual I watched it over 10 times and I'm still smiling like a loon. I love how the guys are just so naturally funny, it's super!!! ... See what I did there ^_^. I was, however, disappointed that it was only 6:07minutes long. I'm so spoiled, I'm used to 10 minute long gag

I'll be honest, as well as shallow: my favorite parts were Jensen's metronome hip thrusts, circling his hand over his crotch, and swaying his butt over Baby. He was quite the saucy boy, wasn't he?

I know what you mean about the brevity of the gag reel. There wasn't the usual song and clips with the crew this time (which, ok, I didn't miss) but it did seem excessively short. Season 8s gr could very well be even shorter if Jared and Jensen do less scenes together. I hope that doesn't prove to be the case.

I agree, the crew clips weren't missed ... too much. But I wish there was more, it ended too quickly *pouts*

I, too, am sad at how short the gag reel is, but mostly because a few guest stars had commented about "That's going on the gag reel". I was hoping to see James Marsters because he said he had a lot of fun and that the 'boys' were naughty. How can I not want to see that.
And Jensen's 'dancing' was quite nice.

They did say there would be quite a bit on the gag reel. Wonder why it wasn't :/ Maybe they would encourage the fandom even more, if you know what I mean ;p

The gag reel is a pretty good one. We finally get to see a snippet of Jared's behind-the-camera antics in that clip where Jim says, "You're fucking welcome." There were a lot of good bloopers with Jim in them, which is fitting since his character had a pivotal role this season.

I was also disappointed the reel wasn't as long as usual, but I was more disappointed that this reel had only two short, split-second shots of Misha. He was in five episodes, but just like the season suffered from his absense, the gag reel suffers, too.

I'm not surprised the reel is missing a few clips the cast thought would be in it; over the years, it seems that if a cast member says a clip will be on the DVD or in the gag reel, that editors go out of their way to make sure that clip *isn't* on the DVD. I'm probably exaggerating.

OR maybe they're saving them to make a bonus DVD with never before seen footage?!?! =D That would be cool, eh! *dreams real hard it happens*

Maybe. They did make a second reel for season five. We can hope.
