Fanfic Challenge: "The Lost Ages Crossover Challenge"
Magic is a dangerous, and sometimes funny, thing.
The challenge, should you chose to accept it, is to write a fanfic in which Sam and/or Dean are de-aged. And, to make things even more interesting, they have to deal with the characters from another fandom.
Could Blair Sandburg and Jim Ellison handle a child with the mind of Dean Winchester?
Would even Methos be defeated by the puppy dog eyes of a five year-old Sam Winchester?
GUIDELINES
1. Your story can be set at any time during seasons 1 or 2 of SPN.
2. Don't be afriad to mix and match timelines. For example your crossover can take place in the current season of SPN, but in season 3 or 4 of BtVS.
3. You can de-age Sam and/or Dean as much or as little as you want. (I imagine a story in which Sam is four and Dean is eight would be adorable. But a story in which Sam is 12 and Dean 16 would also be interesting.)
4. Whether or not Dean and Sam remember being adults is up to you. Although, a story in which an adult Dean Winchester is trapped in the body of a five year-old...just thinking about it makes me chuckle.
5. Whether the characters in the other fandom know what's going on is also up to you.
6. Your story can be funny, or angsty, or however you want it to be.
RULES
1. Your story can be any length. But, as a bribe um, I mean, as an added insentive, the person who posts the longest, completed story by the deadline will get a special cookie.
2. Your story can be any rating...but no stories in which Kid!Dean or Kid!Sam get it on with an adult, please. Because ewwwww.
3. To be considered a crossover, your story must include at least one character from SPN, and one character from another fandom.
4. Follow the Rules and Guidelines when posting your fic.
5. When you're posting your fic, make sure you note in the summary that it's a response to the Lost Ages Crossover Challenge.
6. When posting your fic elsewhere, a shout out to
sn_crossovers would be nice, but isn't mandatory.
Start Date: Tue. 1/30
Start Posting: You can start posting your completed stories on Mon. 2/12
End Date: In order to meet the challenge, completed stories must be posted by the deadline, Wed. 2/14
