Still planning to move back to NM for a while, still haven't told my grandfather this. I'm not really able to look forward to it right now, even though I think it's a good thing. All roads look equally bleak. Perhaps I am mildly depressed.

You sound more than mildly depressed. I'll bet it's winter and the cold, rainy, grey, not enough sunlight.

1 more month until the days will be longer than they are now.

*hugs* I'm sorry you feel like this.

Yeah! And there are thousands more things like that, many we don't even know about. I wonder what the most interesting organism living within my immediate area is.

I can relate to everything you are saying. It is grey, cold, and snowing here as I type this. I am especially sorry to hear about your bike - that in itself is demoralizing (no transportation) and disappointing.

I appreciate the symbiosis of the shrimp and the sponge. Thanks for that!

Thanks, yeah, it is demoralizing. I can still ride it though, it's just something I'll have to deal with eventually. Thanks for the comment.

Biology is so cool! Someday I'll go back to college and win at it :)

Biology is cool! One of my two favorite classes was Biology (the other being geology).

I had to laugh at your comment of winning at biology, as if it were a poker hand or a board game. It could be in the same vein as Monopoly, and instead of properties you would have different species? Instead of hotels you could have different proteins? If I didn't have two exams to study for we could really go with this!

But then, I am hardly original, so someone has come up with this already. And if they haven't, when Milton Bros. gets hold of it and licenses and patents it (much like big pharma has with the very DNA we carry).....

I see conspiracy everywhere!

SMWS - might I ask what are you passionate about these days? This is a question that I ask myself time to time and one which I find is a source that grounds me...that is as long as I then take steps to address that passion (which truthfully is harder to do because of my other time committments ( ... )
