That was absolutely spellbinding, mystery author! I really enjoyed your light, sensual touch throughout even the darker aspects. Very nice.

I like the idea of Draco visiting and caring for Luna. I feel like he would see himself in her - trapped in Malfoy Manor - and want to help himself by helping her. Personally, I like to believe that Luna ends up with Draco over Astoria, mostly because I like to imagine Luna hiding Lucius's cane and blaming nargles.

WOW you are so right!! Luna/Draco is a great pairing anyway but it definitely gets bonus points when you bring in the meet-the-parents aspects!! Thank you!!

I really liked all the layers of ambiguity here; there's so much defeat in Draco's pov even in his scheming, and there's a sort of comfort in this, too - not only for Luna, I feel, even though Draco is reluctant and ultimately calculating in his thoughts. It leaves me wondering if he really will have the stomach to betray her entirely, and if/when he does, if it will feel worth it to him. It made me want to to snatch Luna away from Draco's manipulation, but also to save Draco from this trap, too.

For a single minute, he stares blankly out his window at the darkened Malfoy Manor grounds, feeling about a thousand years old. Loved this line, and it was really well-placed in the story.
