Peace out GW. You don't know what you're missing ;)

What can I say? I kinda know none of the top twenty will take me.

And surprisingly...I think I'm ok with it.

This way I'm going to end up at a much more flexible and innovative program.

I have no idea why I'm taking this so well...

That's a good attitude, because just because a school is renowned doesn't mean it's a good fit for everyone. Also, I personally wouldn't like having TOO many choices for schools. It'd cause me a lot of stress. So good for you! :)

Because U of W is an amazing, amazing law school and GW is kind of icky

Myra, I think that is the perfect attitude to have! Top schools tend to be a little too snotty, and I think so concerned with reputation that the quality of education suffers. SOAS is ranked 4th in Britain, but for PhD I'd rather go to Edinburgh, which is ranked lower, but the teachers care more about teaching. Lower ranked, but still respected schools, tend to care more about what they do, people are there because they really care, not for the reputation. Seattle is awesome, and I know you'll have a good time. But I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on the waitlists. Love for the Myra! Also, kittens. I almost brought you a Turkish kitty, but emportation laws, you know...And I'm proud of you!
