John Edwards quits the race

I know I normally don't post political blogs, but I thought about it the other day and thought it'd be fun, especially as exciting as the race for the democrats is getting.

What makes this year so exciting?

It always seemed to me like Edwards and Hilary were those type of people who disagreed all day long and still went out for a beer afterwards. For some reason I get the feeling that they actually like each other. But who knows. I want Obama as I've never been so personally invested in a candidate as I am in him. Plus if Hilary's elected she'll just be raggin' all the time and cry if some Muslim president calls her a name. Or she might have gone through menopause already (that's why she endorses change!) who knows.

I think what scares me most about Obama is that I don't know who he is and what he's capable of. He's got the charm, young age, and rhetoric but no working plans.

Yeah, it's easy to ridicule and tear Hillary apart, even unfairly so, but I still feel like she's most ready for the position. I doubt she'd ever cry if a "muslim" president, as you put, called her a name. I think when she "cried" (she just choked a little) during a speech just proved that she really isn't all calculating and cold as most suggest. I think if she were called a name by some foreign official, she'd fight back just like she always has.
