Parenting by Design ... but whose design?

I was not thinking of you when when I wrote it.
I know I am guilty of a few of these things as well as many other moms.
It is more of the social moms whom I see that I have this problem with, not the ones I know and love. Anyone who knows me well enough get my "free" parenting advice, along with an apology of such!

I agree with you...lead by example is big...it's HARD to lead by example...but its a biggie in my books. (My personal issues is trying not to use foul language in front of the girls during bouts of road rage.....i got told on by my 6 year old to my mom...and then my mom told off both my husband and I....needless to say...6 year old got taught a lesson in "we don't tell Nanny EVERYTHING". )

It's really in these simple things you mentioned that the biggest lessons in life are learned that turn us, hopefully, into kind and polite adults.

Not that we all don't have a slip up here and there...but if you catch the kids with these things early....then at least you know you've done part of the job...the rest is experience and life throwing lessons at ya.
