1. Comment with "the odds are ever in your favor." 2. I will give you a letter. 3. Post the names of five fictional characters and your thoughts on each.
What the heck, sounds fun! The odds are ever in your favor.
Zuko is also my favorite in A:TLA, so I don't know why that would be odd.
Katara and Kitty Pryde are the only ones on your list that I've read myself, but about them, yeah pretty much. As I remember Kitty, I also liked her because she had such deep kindness and decency that isn't always common in the genre.
Yes, Kitty really has the good part of being a good guy down. Which is a lot rarer than it should be in a genre that's all about heroes and Marvel in particular seems to favor anti-hero types. (Though really, only Superman and Wonder Woman come to mind as - depending on the writer, of course - other basically kind and decent superheroes.)
I suppose it's more that I was surprised to find myself liking Zuko best. I expected, from what little I knew when I sat down to watch the show, that I'd like Sokka best, or maybe Toph. But even when he was angstily trying to be a villain, there was something unexpectedly likable about Zuko. (I think it was that they did a really good job of showing that he wasn't villain material, even while he was causing all sorts of problems for the heroes.)
Oh yes, and... *finds random letter generator on the net* ... F.
