Souji's been having an off day. He woke up late and thus missed that limited time sale at the video store. Then he attempted to go home only to find a village full of crazed exorcists who mistook him for a different Souji. After he barely managed to escape into the Mall, he trips and falls on a Jack Frost who Sonic Punches him to the other end of the Mall. He lands in an alley full of Yomotsu Shikome who then mistook him for 'that coward Izanagi' and were dragging him into a door before a Jinn shows up and yoinks him away from them.
And tells him something that caused him to sit on a bench for the past hour and a half. The expression on his face seems to be a mix of shock, denial, confusion, and frustration.
